It’s Wednesday morning in Africa, and our whole team woke up with our bodies screaming at us. Yesterday we all worked in different positions around the property – harvesting bananas, spending hours preparing those for meals, working in kitchens, hoeing on the farm, cutting up fallen banana trees, hand washing loads of laundry, cleaning up chicken poop, pulling weeds, working security…

I think they found it funny how quickly our “mizungu” (white person) hands developed blisters.

The staff here at Cherish works HARD every single day. And they all have amazing stories. Off now for another day of devotions, some work, and chapel/tour in a local fishing village.
