ALL are welcome to join us.The holiday’s are in pretty officially in full swing and in the Christian tradition we are in what is known as the season of Advent. It’s a time to center ourselves and prepare spiritually/emotionally for Christmas.

What does it look like to live as those who dream? The prophets, the psalmists, John the Baptist, Mary, Elizabeth, Joseph, Simeon, Anna, the shepherds and the Magi—they all dreamt. They received, discovered, and responded to Divine dreams for the world. In Advent, we step into the mystery and awe of sacred dreams for ultimate reality and pray that they shape our reality.

We’ll have some conversation with one another, contemplate sacred text together and how it speaks to us in this season, and share some communion.
(To participate in “communion” you can have a liquid and bread nearby. Traditionally wine or juice, and bread or cracker. But the elements are less important in our context than the symbolism and eating and drinking together.)
